I had the pleasure of being Assistant Costume Designer for SUNY New Paltz's Main Stage production of For Colored Girls...

I worked on many of the costumes. I built the lion kimono from scratch. I also painted patterns and designs on various pieces. Working as Assistant Costume Designer on this production was one of my absolute favorite experiences! I learned so much including organizational skills, fitting room etiquette, and how to manage directors and actors/actresses.
